Reminders
Absolutely no kiddie pools, swimming pools, or trampolines on the premises.
No one is allowed to sit on the caged equipment on the grounds.
Effective September 1, 2023, we will no longer mail newsletters and monthly statements unless you have an outstanding balance or maintenance charge. After your recertification has been completed, your rent will remain the same unless you provide information that requires it to change or have maintenance charges.
Residents, you can pay your rent online. Go to the HAD website and click on Pay Online Here.
If you are not registered yet, please follow these steps:
- Register for an Account Here.
- Please use the same name and SSN that your housing application has listed.
- Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email containing your account information.
- Our online payment system charges a $3 convenience fee for all online transactions.
Maintenance Reminders
Air conditioning not working is not an emergency unless we have a heat advisory.
The Maintenance work order line is 843.393.0436, extension 2003. During normal business hours, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., the calls are received and dispatched to a Maintenance Staff person.
After normal business hours and on weekends, please call 843.496.8519. The calls are received by an On-Call Maintenance person if the call is determined to be an emergency in accordance with DHA's maintenance emergency list.
- EMERGENCY Fire - Call 911
- Broken gas line or gas leak (call the gas company)
- Loss of power
- Broken water lines
- Exposed electrical lines
- No heat (During the winter season)
- Major plumbing backups and/or conditions that might cause harm to the tenant and/or damage to property (includes overflowing toilet and other exposure to raw sewage)
Cool Summer Treat
No-Bake 3-ingredient Cookies & Ice Cream Pie
Ingredients for 8 servings
- 20 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1 cup chocolate, melted
- 1 ¾ qt ice cream, softened
Preparation
- Place cookies in a gallon-sized plastic bag and hit with a rolling pin or pan until crushed.
- Pat the cookie crumbs into the bottom of a 9" (23 cm) pie dish.
- Spread the softened ice cream on top and smooth out.
- Drizzle the top with melted chocolate.
- Freeze for 4 hours or until the ice cream is hardened. Enjoy!
