Announcements
Spring is just around the corner, and that means the Darlington Farmer's Market is back! They will be open on the first and third Saturday of each month 10 AM - 2 PM, plus the fourth Thursday 3 PM - 7 PM for those who prefer an evening market. You'll find them at The Market on Pearl (103 Pearl Street) and don't forget, there's extra parking behind the building!
Reminders
- The Housing Authority has a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal drug use and weapons on our property, if you see any of this activity, please call the police and then the Housing Authority office.
- Per your lease you must keep all utilities (Lights, Water and Gas) on and active. Disconnection can result in your receiving a Lease Violation/Termination.
- Please note that you will be held responsible for your guests engaging in illegal behavior in your unit.
- Pets must be pre-registered with the Housing Authority and have up to date vaccinations and residents are not allowed to pet sit animals.
- Please note that not responding to certain communications from this office can be the cause of a possible lease violation.
- If you fail to report new income or changes in pay or hours to us, you can be prosecuted for fraud and/or a possible lease violation.
- Only household members listed on your lease may reside in your unit and overnight guests are only allowed to stay for up to 14 days per year.
- If you park on the grass, park illegally and do not have a HAD decal or visitors tag, if vehicle is not working and if you have expired tags, you will be fined and towed at your own expense.
- If you flush any of these items, they will cause back up problems that will result in you being charged a maintenance fee to have your system cleared. (Even the ones that say flushable are not safe to flush)
- Please continue to use the Drop Boxes at the entrance to the office. It is so important that you write your name and address on your money orders so that we can read it to ensure that there is not a delay in posting your payment to your account.
