February 2019 E-Newsletter
Starting this month in February, we will start asking trivia questions which can be found in the newsletters. The trivia questions can pertain to different holidays, different housing authority information, or even important facts. Every third month on the last Thursday - March, June, September, and December-a drawing for a prize will be done for everyone who participates in answering the trivia questions for that quarter. Only one attempt at the trivia question allowed, and only correct answers will be entered in the drawing! All answers can be taken to the HAD main office.
On Monday, February 11th, there will be a social gathering for the kids in the community room at the HAD main office from 3:30 - 4:30 pm. There will be snacks and drinks available for the children! In a world filled with hatred, violence, and judgement, it can be difficult to view the world as a kind place. Acts of kindness are powerful because they bring peace, love, and respect to others. We would like to begin celebrating and giving recognition to those doing random acts of kindness around our community...

Trivia Question
Who is the Author who wrote, "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings"?
If you know of a neighbor, friend, staff or family member who has shown such kindness, please feel free to share them with us at the HAD main office. This month we would like to thank our resident, Mr. James Campbell, for bringing in our heavy cases of copy paper that were left outside our front door. His kindness was unexpected and saved us from having to carry the heavy cases! We are all grateful for you, Mr. Campbell!
This month makes a year that the HAD's Crime Block Drop Box has been set up in front of our entrance! Please make sure everyone is using this dropbox appropriately to only report crimes. There should be no rent, return letters, or any other important letters to the HAD employees inserted in this crime box!
